J: Class dinner.
Posted: May 28, 2011 | Author: J | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »Thursday was class dinner. We finish the school year, get all dressed up, and go out to eat in a big ol’ group. About this big:

We take photos with all of our friends. This is T. You’ve seen him here too.
Then you take a picture with pretend Justin Bieber. Because… Why on earth not?!?
Then you color on your placemats, and sing B-I-L #1 famous song… “Lobster baby, you’re the one!”
Then you eat too much food, have lots of conversation, and appreciate each other. I don’t have a photo for this, sorry.
Naturally, we go to Walmart afterwards. There we make lovely faces.
Then we sing into cleaning supplies and run into a friend. Meet Morich.
It’s strange to think that the (school) year is basically over. We have graduation then we’re done (we’ll, C isn’t done. she has a few more years. sorry girl). But really, I’m excited to finished and move on to greater things. What will I be doing next?
I plan to enlist into Star Fleet, where I eventually hope to become captain of the Black Pearl. I shall sail to Neverland and find a rabbit hole, fall down into Narnia where I shall begin my quest for the One Ring. After I have succeeded at all this I shall retire and spend a quiet life raising dragons.
Sounds nice doesn’t it?

Many, many, many moons ago, someone asked me if I had a six pack. Which gave me the right to laugh in her face and then proceed to tell her that she probably just saw my ribs. The day I have a six pack? Yeah… that, my dear, will be the day Jesus comes back. I’m too lazy to do anything other than bake a chocolate cake and then eat it all.
It’s off to work I go. I didn’t allot myself very much time for posting this morning. Sleeping those extra 10 minutes takes precedent over posting. I could say I’m sorry but… I’m not. I like sleeping. A lot.
C: tomorrow – tomorrow – i love ya, tomorrow
Posted: May 26, 2011 | Author: C | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »On Monday J and I, along with a few others, went on a short trip. . . those are the best ya know. Short, sweet, and filled with fun. We had to leave L home to be the adult that works — she took double hours just to cover both of us being gone. [you can laugh. . . that was facetious]
We call this girl Baby B, but she isn’t so “baby” anymore. When this girl enters a store [i.e. Forever 21], she marches straight to the jewelry and is there the WHOLE TIME trying everything possible on. . .What a girl.
At this store she was called the “Egyptian Princess”.

Car trips to us translate as the “sing high, loud, and at times obnoxiously ride”. You don’t believe me? Let me show you. . .

I’ll be playing that throughout the day and most likely other songs from the video on Netflix. it’s just that good.
both L and J are gone for awhile today, which means that The Sea Foam Cavern is mine. all mine. I will most likely light some candles, plug in the twinkle lights, play music constantly, and look at my pile of winter and summer clothes that need to be switched. but I’ll just look. taking care of the pile will be left for another day when my brain doesn’t feel so — frazzled.
later today a bunch of us are going to a nearby crepe spot. it’s called La Creperie — I think. either way, their crepes are amazing. but today they’re even more special than usual. why? they’re free. that’s right, you heard me. FREE. who wouldn’t want to eat one of these for free???

yum.
J: It’s friday! (gotta get down on friday)
Posted: May 20, 2011 | Author: J | Filed under: Uncategorized | 1 Comment »Good morning! (yes. I’m half asleep still. and blond still. oh – and yes i did just reference rebecca black in the title. deal with it.)

i have placed an official request with the big man upstairs. It’s still pending, but if all goes well – It’s going to stop raining today. and tomorrow. and sunday too. (please???)
And then i’m going to sit outside all weekend and listen to this. and now you know, and you can listen to it all weekend too!

1. I have to wear black (work uniform). Three days of black in this week already. I’m going a little bit insane! My creativity when working strictly with the color black is hindered quite a bit. Oh well. “If it pays the bills!”
2. It’s raining. Again. Need I say more?
3. I’m suddenly an “adult” and I don’t really like it. A person walked into the shop yesterday and after helping them pick out clothes, she asked me how old I was. I responded, “Well, actually, today is my 18th birthday,” to which she exclaimed “happy birthday” and all those lovely sayings. 18. How can I be 18?
4. The smell of oatmeal. Ugh. I dislike oatmeal with a passion.
5. My room is a mess. Guess that’s what happens when you’re a little bit lazy, work all day long and the washer/dryer is never free when you need it. I’m lame. Well, mostly lazy.

Introducing, the REAL Spider-man:
Surprised??? I thought so. ‘Cause Spider-man’s a girl and it’s my sister! Yep. Sister #5 is Spider-man. What will we do?!
Nothing. We will do nothing. Just leave it alone, guys.
Well that was sufficiently depressing. Why? I have no idea. Mmmmkay. And that’s my cue to move on. . .
Here’s something that will brighten up your day!
And no. It’s not a bouquet of flowers, even though that would be quite lovely. It’s something much MUCH better. You ready?
J: We have a long way to go..
Posted: May 17, 2011 | Author: J | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »L posted about life getting back to “normal”. But- i don’t think you realized just how strange it has actually gotten. let me try and fill you in..
so even though we’re trying – normal is still a long way off.
L: back to “normal”
Posted: May 16, 2011 | Author: L | Filed under: Uncategorized | 2 Comments »Right now:
I’m listening to this song. It’s just perfect for rainy mondays.
I’m thinking about the year I might spend here.
I’m super tired. It was a long week.
I’m re-reading emails from friends that are just too funny. Sometimes I think I must have comedians for friends because they make me laugh that much.
I’m drinking some tea. SO yummy.
I’m doing some online shopping for the full time job I just accepted. Yep. Full time. 5-6 days a week, 10-6. I’m thinking Shabby Apple and ModCloth are about to become my best friends.
I’m thankful that brother #2 is home from a freak accident that had him in the hospital getting his spleen removed.
I’m happy that life might to back to “normal” soon. Maybe not normal but routine would be nice. I’d like to have an idea of what tomorrow may bring.

we made people laugh, tried to smooth over our mistakes, and in the end, fell asleep so quickly you would have thought we ran all day — we practically did. yes, i’m exaggerating. but you knew that. . .’cause at this point we’re like best buds. you know lots about me, and i don’t know very much about you [whoever all of you readers are] and in the end, we’re like every other friendship. . .
someone does the talking, and the other does the listening.
lazy Saturdays always have lots of laughing and talking though — we consider those days where you sit around not really doing anything but talking and laughing pure lazy. but we’re being social with one another, so that’s something, right? [please let that count.....mmmmkay. thanks]
we have fun. always. okay, not always, but close enough to consider life “always” fun. whatever.
here’s a little something that happened today. i hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did.
