L: honey and chocolate.
Posted: January 31, 2012 | Author: L | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »My best friends today:
Airborne, tea & honey, my really warm scarf, pink-because-of-a-fever cheeks, not-done hair, and a dorky face.
YOU do the math.
Also, all the chocolate is gone. What is a girl to do when all 36 bars of cheap Hershey’s chocolate is gone??
Oh, don’t worry; I’ve got a solution.
Be jealous. Be jealous of my solution.
May: cuddles, puppies, & a bag o’ ruffles

hi! i’m madison. that’s my name. you can call me May.
here’s “J” and i…
let me let you into my life for a quick sec.
tonight, our house cooked lots of random meals, blended lots of random fruit, ate random minty chocolate and wished we had lots of random ice cream.
but nothing beats french onion dip and a giant bag of ruffles.
except Jesus.
He is above all. and worthy of it all.
L: Tears and Young Folks
Posted: January 26, 2012 | Author: L | Filed under: Music, Uncategorized | 1 Comment »A couple of things.
First, she makes any day better. Silly faces with the niece. On the day this picture was taken, she gave me a hug and told me she loved me without me being all “Baby B, give your auntie a kiss on the cheek!”. Best kid ever. And she loves ballet as much as me. And she’s prettier than me. But that’s OK.
I had my first legit breakdown in the office. Like, tears, head in my hands, praying nobody comes in the office right now kind of breakdown. It was… useful. Breakdowns always are.
I’m legitimately obsessed with this song. Why do I say that? Cause I love this song when it’s sung by The Kooks and James Blunt. That’s some serious loving of a song going on.
C: Ever played a recorder?
Posted: January 25, 2012 | Author: C | Filed under: Music, Uncategorized | Leave a comment »It’s harder than it looks.
For instance… You don’t want to hear me play it. And no offense, but I don’t want to hear you play it either.
A blog I follow posted this video. It’s a couple years old but I had never seen it. And let me tell ya…
He’s real good.
J: It Snowed (kind of late)
Posted: January 20, 2012 | Author: J | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »I’m all alone in the office today. Usually our office looks like this..
On the “bright side” it FINALY snowed in New Haven. What they call snow makes me laugh…
Oh well. I had another Christmas song to post, but never did it. Whoops.
But – becuase of the title of the song, and the fact it finally snowed here – i thought it would still be appropriate to share it with you all today.
enjoy…
L: winter
Posted: January 19, 2012 | Author: L | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »This is the weather I walked home in the other night. It was dark, grey and raining and there was two feet of snow almost everywhere.
But this morning? This morning it’s pretty, white, bright, sunshine-y outside my office window.
It’s funny how different two days can look. No matter how much I dislike cold and ice and winter, there’s no denying that winter is beautiful in it’s own way.
That’s all.
C: “i’d pull their teeth out and then the tooth fairy would come”
Posted: January 18, 2012 | Author: C | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »I’m making paper snowflakes.
Somehow I manage to create the most funny looking snowflakes EVER.
So that’s why I use directions with pictures. I copy what other people have done. Because otherwise, I make a snowflake that really doesn’t look like a snowflake… if ya know what I mean.
(I’m cool like that)
On another note… You should watch this! (it’s hilarious)
I Hope You Laugh

And….
You should know that J and C made this video only to mock a friend.
That fact doesn’t help how stupid they seem in this video, but you should know that they weren’t the first to do something like this.
Well. Here goes nothing.
Enjoy watching their stupidity.
Yes. They’re holding skirts over their pants (that’s what the friend did), dancing to a Korean song that they’ve never heard and trying to sing along with it (fail), using random objects for microphones, and being plain stupid.
Hopefully your IQ hasn’t gone down.
C: Just get ready.
Posted: January 12, 2012 | Author: C | Filed under: Music, Uncategorized | Leave a comment »Did we ever tell you about the soldier J got a photo with? He’s from FAO Schwarz, which means he’s a real soldier. (*wink wink*)
Did you know that we love to play dress up? Well, we do.
And it must have passed on through the genes.
And we never showed you this, did we?
I forget their actual “band name”, but they performed at the Madrid, NY Ice Cream Social. Yes. An Ice Cream Social… You read it correctly.
The video starts in the middle of the song, but only because L had no idea how to work her new camera.
Oh — Please pardon the weird “skippyness”. I don’t know why it does that.
And we didn’t know the words when they started singing, so we just awkwardly clapped. That’s what you’re supposed to do, right?
On Saturday I’ll be posting something very funny.
It’s a video that I’m rather embarrassed by, but you’ll enjoy it.
And you’ll laugh at it while I’m pulling my hair out wondering why I shared it with you all.
Yes. It does sound like a good video now, doesn’t it?
J: I thought this was funny
Posted: January 12, 2012 | Author: J | Filed under: Uncategorized | Leave a comment »I stumbled upon this photo the other day and couldn’t help but laugh. We look so young!
This was a LONG time ago. I mean, basically forever ago. Aren’t we cute though?
The answer is yes, we are. And some things never change…
