the sea foam cavern . . .

is very quiet today. L is gone babysitting, C has not been in her usual spot (her cozy bed), and J is either quietly reading, checking her email, or sleeping in her own bed.

needs to purchase new candles. the scents of apple pie, clean linen, and sugar cookies are no more because the sea foam cavern has used its candles up completely. this, my dear readers, is sadness.

is very messy. piles of clothing fill the room completely and as always the usual “i don’t feel like putting this thing away so i’ll dump it on my dresser” items. oh joy.

is quite dreary. the cloudy skies always make the room darker and the inhabitants of the sea foam cavern survive off of only the sun.

has listened to Brandi Carlile and Frank Sinatra so far. they are both favorites.

is busy practicing lines for a musical — Cinderella’s Glass Slipper. J is the stupid stepsister, Cleopatra, L is Cinderella, and C is the Stepmother. it has all been very entertaining.

is eating Chicken Soup for dinner along with French White Bread that C made. unfortunately, bread is very unpredictable. sometimes it’s absolutely amazing, and other times quite dangerous. . . let’s hope they don’t die.
